When it comes to all natural soaps with amazing benefits, goat milk soap tops the list. Known as the “king of milk”, the fat granules of goat milk are one-third of cow milk, which is more conducive to human body absorption and the lactic acid component of pure goat milk is known to play a key role in cleansing our skin by eliminating impurities.
Goats milk is a wholesome natural ingredient that has anti-inflammatory properties which reduce inflammation and loaded with essentials such as vitamin D, C, B1, B6, B12 and E. It is highly moisturizing and are recommended for soothing dry and damaged skin.
Goats milk also helps to lowers the PH balance of the soap helping to maintain our skins natural PH. As a natural source of alpha-hydroxy acids, it also helps rejuvenate skin, feeling younger and smoother, delays signs of aging.
Benefits of Colloidal Oatmeal (Organic, Gluten Free)
Colloidal Oats contain polysaccharides, which have a gel-like texture when combined with moisture. This light gel leaves a protective layer over the skin that seals in skin’s natural moisture while also providing additional nutrients. For many with sensitive skin, the skin barrier function may be compromised, and a layer of Colloidal Oatmeal acts like a protective, second skin. The proteins in oats also improve the skin barrier’s functionality by increasing the production of filaggrin, an essential building block of the skin barrier’s function.
Hydrates Dry Skin – The protective layer Colloidal Oatmeal imparts over the skin’s surface helps retain its natural moisture, while other actives help replenish moisture levels. The starches in oats are able to absorb water and bind it to the skin.
Evens out Skin Tone and Texture – Oats are a rich source of avenanthramides, a unique group of antioxidant compounds not found in other plant sources. Avenanthramides are the main actives in oats that reduce redness and inflammation, especially irritation from excessive sun exposure (UV radiation). In addition to its calming qualities, oats also act as a gentle exfoliator for skin, excellent for removing dead cells and revealing brighter skin that lies beneath.
Natural, Gentle Cleansing – Oatsmeal contain saponins, compounds that are naturally occurring in many grains and legumes. Saponins are an ideal, gentle cleanser for sensitive skin because they absorb dirt and debris on the surface of the skin. As a result, dirt can be easily rinsed away without disrupting the skin’s barrier.
Benefits of Manuka Honey
Honey is known to have anti-inflammatory, ant bacterial property and are widely used to treat multiple conditions since ancients time and in our manuka honey oatmeal goat milk soap, we use only the best honey, Manuka honey, for that ultimate skincare.
Manuka honey is a type of honey native to New Zealand. Produced by bees who pollinate the flower Leptospermum scoparium, commonly known as the manuka bush.
Unlike most honey which only contains hydrogen peroxide for antibiotic properties, manuka honey contains methylglyoxal (its active ingredient) for antibacterial effects. Applied topically, manuka honey effectively treats burns, ulcers and non-healing wounds.
Benefit of Handmade Soap
We all take shower everyday, but just how many of us KNOW what chemicals are used in our soaps. Or even if you know, are they really as natural as it claims to be?
Take a look at your soap or cleanser used in your bathroom now. The general rule of thumb is when you can’t effortlessly pronounce the ingredients, it’s probably synthetic. A true natural handmade soap uses terms like Olive oil, Coconut oil & Palm oil, etc. The only chemical substance term in natural soap would be sodium hydroxide which is just natural lye.
Note: There is no lye left in the finished product. During saponification, lye reacts with botanic oils to forms soap.
